Juan Luis was not only an aspiring legal scholar, but also a tireless advocate for the legal rights of migrant workers and a rising leader in the Latino community. Established by Juan Luis' friends and family, the Juan Luis Tienda Scholarship honors outstanding law students who have demonstrated commitment to working in underserved Latino communities.
